A quick read about the subject of dogs is just what someone may need to lighten up their day—or to convince them to go out and buy a puppy! To each their own. Many people are in search of the answers to the big questions to life, or they are desperate to solve the major problems of the world, or some maybe just trying to figure out how to get through each day one thing at a time. Whatever the case is for each individual, I have the answer for everyone—dogs. Dogs are such a special blessing and a hidden miracle to humanity. How can one ignore the idea of having a four-legged best friend? Dogs are filled with love and loyalty, are species sent from heaven, and make the best family members. People can learn so much from dogs and their contributions to a person’s quality of life. First, dogs live for the day, the hour, the minute, and the moment. They are a species that consistently lives for the present moment and that in itself is a special thing to note. Dogs are also known as the singular species on Earth that will love you more than they love themselves. This is a beautiful concept to grasp and something we can all learn from. Now, granted, dogs are not our whole life, but they can most certainly make our life’s whole. Dogs can provide a lot for someone and have a lot to offer. They can be a loyal companion, give you affection and comfort, be your protection, safety blanket, or guard, they can teach you courage and love, trust, and patience. Personally, when I see my dog, I see a friend. When I feel my dog, I feel a soul. A dog’s life purpose is centered around its owner. What a miraculous and delightful thought.
