Usually, I am not the biggest Crumbl person, but when I tried their Pink Sugar and Celebration Cookies recently (which I wrote an article about last week, so go check that out!), I craved more. When I saw that they released a Confetti Cake Batter Cheesecake (and we all know how much I love funfetti/confetti and cake batter flavored-desserts), I couldn’t drive to Crumbl fast enough, and just for fun, I decided to try the Chocolate Cupcake Cookie and Sugar Cookie featuring Mother’s Frosted Circus Animal Crackers. The list below includes my thoughts on each of the sweet treats, and if this article isn’t enough to make you drool, I don’t know what will.
- Confetti Cake Batter Cheesecake
What do you get when you combine a soft graham cracker crust with cream cheese, cake batter, and sprinkles and top it off with whipped cream and even more sprinkles? Well, you get Olivia’s dream cheesecake. The whipped cream is light and fluffy and the cheesecake is the perfect mix of tangy cream cheese and sweet vanilla cake. My favorite part of the treat, which actually surprised me, was the crust itself. Soft, sweet, and crumbly, I didn’t realize how much I love graham cracker crusts until I first tasted this cheesecake. I also expected it to be as hard as a rock, so it was a lovely surprise that it was soft. In case you’re missing the Celebration Cookie, the Confetti Cake Batter Cheesecake will give you a reason to celebrate.
- Chocolate Cupcake Cookie
I didn’t realize you could turn cupcakes into cookies (and make them taste delicious) until Crumbl started doing it, and, boy, am I so glad they did. A soft and chewy vanilla sugar cookie is topped with a rich fudge frosting and chocolate sprinkles creates the ultimate combination of a cookie and cupcake. My only critique was that the frosting was a little too bitter and rich and overwhelmed the actual cookie, but I still ate the entire cookie because it was just that good.
- Sugar Cookie featuring Mother’s Frosted Circus Animal Crackers
Oh my goodness! Out of all of the desserts on this list, this sugar cookie was my favorite, and not because sugar cookies are my favorite type of cookie. This cookie was one of the softest and chewiest cookies I have ever had (and I have eaten a lot of cookies!), and as someone who prefers soft cookies over crunchy cookies, this was a dream come true for me. Crumbl’s website says this cookie is a rainbow sprinkles cookie covered with white drops (which are confectionary chips that are usually melted for baked goods) and is finally topped with a frosted animal cracker and rainbow sprinkles. I also thought this cookie looked the best out of all of the desserts this week because of all of the popping colors and how seeing the bright cracker brought me right back to my childhood. Whether you buy this cookie for your current tongue or for a nostalgic feeling, this cookie will fill our day with sugar and rainbows.
Crumbl has a great lineup for the week of April 12. It makes me excited to see what they have in store next week, so keep an eye out for a future article covering that topic!
