The awards season is finally here! On Tuesday, January 24th the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the list of nominees for The 89th Academy Awards. This year, important names such as Denzel Washington and Meryl Streep are nominated for Best Actor and Actress, respectively. Also, the musical “La La Land” starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone is one of the favorites to win Best Picture. The 89th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center.
