I don’t know about you, but I have a very unhealthy obsession with the royal family. I have devoured every article about the wedding, the baby, and their vacations. I know Kate’s closet inside and out. I can tell when she is having a bad hair day (but let’s be real, it never actually happens). But upon my potentially creepy examination into the life of Kate Middleton, I have discovered that she really is just like us!
She can rock leggings for any occasion
Although she is actually wearing her leggings to workout, unlike most college girls, she looks damn good pushing that precious stroller.
She has mastered the hair flip
You know THAT hair flip. The one you use when your frenemy walks into the bar or your boyfriend tells you that you are over reacting. The Duchess of Cambridge could teach a class on the hair flip.
She loves her Tory Burch
While on vacation in New Zealand, Kate presented her adorable little son, Prince George. And what better designer could you wear for such an occasion? Tory, of course! I bet she even has the brown riding boots.
She has a passion for wine
I would bet my entire life that she is not drinking Fanzia. Although she is probably drinking a wine that we will never be able to afford, her choice of red is the sorority go-to for any “classy” event.
She stumbles!
After knocking back a few glasses of her very expensive-not boxed wine, even Royalty can take a tumble. We look just as poised while we somehow make our way from Sky to McDonald’s, too.
She has the most perfectly bouncy ponytail ever
I don’t know about you but I have spent YEARS trying to make my ponytail to look like that. And that is with hairspray, a hair dryer, a curler and several brands of hair product. The fact that she can just throw her hair up and it will look just like that makes her the envy of all sorority girls.
We may envy Kate Middleton for her perfect wardrobe, hair, husband, house and baby but in the end we are all just like her, but just in a little less shiny way. She grew up just like any one of us and there is no reason that we can’t have our own royal miracle. A girl can dream!
