Seven Gifts that Keep On Giving

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Auburn chapter.

It’s the season of giving and these organizations will give you more than just gifts to put under the tree this year. Here’s seven gifts that will keep on giving back:

1. Sevenly Apparel

Every week Sevenly chooses a different cause and creates different “cause art” to sell on their apparel. The last cause went to providing bikes to girls in Guatemala to help them get to school safely and quickly.

2.  Kurandza

These handcrafted earrings are made by artisans from Mozambique. The profits go to help empower the women, the majority of whom are HIV positive, by giving them greater economic opportunity and giving them and their families brighter futures.

3. Thistle Farms

Thistle Farms is a community of women survivors of addiction, prostitution and trafficking. Proceeds from sales help get women the therapy, education, medical care and job training they need.

4. UncommonGoods

UncommonGoods sells a wide range of products and lets you pick from four different organizations for you to donate. Support anti-violence, forest protection, women survivors or promote early literacy.

5. Out of Print

Purchasing any of the products from Out of Print sends a book to a community in need through their partner Books For Africa.

6. The Brave Collection

This bracelet reads “Brave” in Khmer. All of the bracelets are made by women in Cambodia from their homes, allowing them to care for their young children in a dignified environment. They are paid above average wages and are provided benefits like health insurance and education stipends.

7. Charity: Water

Charity: Water puts 100% of its profits to fund clean and sustainable water projects.
