Just when you thought you couldn’t be any more envious of Victoria Secret Angels Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo, we find out that these two BFFs are both pregnant. Talk about going through everything in life together. What girl doesn’t want her BFF by her side to shop for baby clothes, talk about baby names, and fight hormonal battles? I mean, I wouldn’t oppose.
According to sources, Behati Prinsloo, 26 from Namibia, and husband Adam Levine, 37, are expecting their first child, and Behati is already three to four months into the pregnancy. Although the couple is keeping hush hush about it, we know Levine told Ryan Seacrest, “I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible,” soon after his marriage to Behati in July 2014. The two met in June 2012 soon after Levine’s split from Victoria Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. Since then, they have been pretty much inseperable. Behati posted a picure of her and Levine Saturday, March 19, wishing Levine a happy birthday. In the caption, she called Levine “the love of my life.” The caption read, “Happy birthday to the love of my life! Everything is boring and meaningless without you!!!”
The same day, Behati’s BFF Candice Swanepoel posted a picture on Instagram with the caption “Agora e #barrigapositiva! #babyangel.” Translated, this means “What happens now, large belly, baby angel.” In the picture, Candice is laying in bed, wearing a sports bra and lingerie (what probably comes most natural), with her hand resting over her fiance’s hand. Unlike BFF Behati, Candice is not shying away from sharing her excitement with the rest of the world. Candice, 27 from South Africa, has been dating fiance Hermann Nicoli, a Brazilian model, since she met him in Paris when she was 17, and they finally got engaged last year. Just like Behati, Candice is reportedly about three months along in her pregnancy.
Do you think Candice and Behati planned their pregnancies so they could go through the experience together AND so they would have some time before the 2016 Victoria Secret Fashion Show in November to lose the baby weight? Like the models before them (for example, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio), I’m sure they won’t have a problem showing off their rocking bods right after giving birth. Candice has already said before that although she enjoys yoga and boxing, she really eats whatever she wants… Sigh, what it must be like to be an angel…
