Incredible Signs from the 2018 Women’s March

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Auburn chapter.

This past Saturday, Jan. 20, women marched in protest of President Trump and the continued mistreatment of women for the 2018 Women’s March. Last year, the 2017 Women’s March was in protest of Trump’s inauguration, and millions of people turned out; this year’s was no exception.

With the rise of the #MeToo movement and numerous accusations of abuse by men in power, this march fought a whole new sector of concerns. With the midterm elections coming up, now is the time to speak up and be heard for what you believe in, and for those who don’t have the power or strength to speak for themselves.

On a lighter note, the signs and posters at the two marches have been incredibly clever, powerful and creative. With these, the holder speaks his or her mind and encourages others with the same views. Check out some of the amazing signs from the 2018 Women’s March and be inspired to fight the patriarchy with them!
