2018 is all about women, so of course our music should reflect that. Here are 4 I think will make the playlists of everyone this year, so go ahead and check them out!

Billie Eilish

Sixteen-year-old Los Angeles native, Billie Eilish, had her rise to fame after the release of her single “Ocean Eyes” on SoundCloud in 2016. Following the viral hit, she recorded “Bored” for the Thirteen Reasons Why soundtrack. She often works with her brother, Finneas O’Connell, on her music and writing songs. With her unique fashion, iconic “no smiling” photos and alternative style music, there is no question that she is one of the most exciting new artists of the year.

Milk & Bone

This Canadian duo consists of Laurence Lafond-Beaulne and Camille Poliquin. They have been featured on the show Riverdale with their song “Natalie.” The release of their album, Deception Bay, futures the popular single “Nevermore” and other great hits such as “Set in Stone” and “THE FLOOD.” Their daydreamy, soft pop sound is absolutely pleasant for the ears.

Jorja Smith

English singer Jorja Smith was featured on Drake’s More Life album in the songs “Jorja Interlude” and “Get It Together.” Following the album, she has been recognized immensely by American R&B lovers. Smith has a song featured on the Black Panther album called “I Am.” Other great songs to check out by Jorja are “Where Did I Go” and “On My Mind” (with Preditah).

Tara Carosielli

Carosielli is an upcoming London artist whose EP I Know You Hate Me has gained attention throughout social media. Each song features heartfelt lyrics with a dark pop sound. “Lunatic” is one of the most beloved pieces featured on the EP. Fans definitely cannot wait to see the places Carosielli will be going this year.
