Â
What are you involved in on campus?
I am a founding member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. I also tutor beginning software engineering and computer science students through the STARS peer tutoring program.
Â
What is your ideal woman?
My ideal woman is someone who can carry a good conversation and has her own strong opinions. I couldn’t date someone who just agrees with everything. As far as physical attributes, I tend to go for taller women. Probably because I’m kind of tall myself.
Â
What is your ideal date?
My ideal date is one where I can actually get to know the person I’m dating. I enjoy going to movies just like every other person, but you can’t really talk at the movies (or at least you shouldn’t). I guess my ideal date is one that’s pretty laid back and spent getting to know the girl I’m with. Also, bowling can be a really fun date, especially if you are both really bad!
Â
What can a girl do to get your attention?
Really, just talking to me gets my attention. I really enjoy talking and getting to know people. But if you want to break out dancing in the middle of the student center, that may get my attention also.
Â
Celebrity Crush?
I haven’t thought about it too much, but I’d have to say Anne Hathaway, especially after her performance in The Dark Knight Rises.
Â
What is one thing that people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I’m a huge fan of Star Trek. I grew up watching the old episodes with my Dad, so it really takes me back.
Â
What are your post-graduate plans?
If I’m lucky, I’d like to work as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, California. My dream job immediately following graduation would be to work at a company like Facebook or Google. Eventually, I plan to start my own software company (I have a few ideas I’m working on).
Â
What would you consider your best attribute?
Physically, my height. I love being tall. Also, I get really motivated about projects that interest me and I won’t stop until it’s done right. I really like that about myself.
Â
What has been the most meaningful part of your time at Auburn?
The most meaningful part of my time at Auburn has been the friendships I’ve made since I moved here. I’ve met some incredible people here, and I can’t imagine my life without them now.
Â
How would you describe the Auburn women of today?
Auburn women are the kindest, classiest and by far prettiest women I’ve ever met. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Â
And lastly what has it been like being a founding member of Sigma Tau and what values do you believe you and your brothers represent?
I am honored to be a founding member of Sigma Tau Gamma here on campus. It has been exciting to establish new traditions and create something that will last long after I graduate. Sigma Tau Gamma has six values that we strive for: value, learning, leadership, excellence, benefit, and integrity. I can confidently say that each brother of Sigma Tau Gamma here at Auburn upholds these values every day.
