There’s a Superhero Fashion Line Appropriate for Work and We’re Obsessed

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at ASU chapter.

Lifestyle men’s fashion brand, Hero Within, announced two dresses inspired by two of our favourite superheroes, Wonder Woman and Batman, and they are absolutely STUNNING.

The fashion line is designed to allow us to celebrate our hero within, (I see what you did there…) at work and at play.

“I think it’s a way to be true to who you are. A chance to be proud of what you are passionate about. It’s a way to show the world that being a nerd or geek can also mean be stylish and sophisticated,” Hero Within owner and CEO Tony B. Kim said.

There’s also a denim jacket with Wonder Woman’s logo stitched to the back that’s perfect for a casual day out.

The company had released a licensed DC Comics collection in early 2017, but the line was mostly restricted to men’s clothing.

Kim said that the most popular items at the moment are the Batman Heavy Peacoat, the Wonder Woman Denim Jacket, and the Wonder Woman dress.

Not a fan of DC Comics? Don’t worry, because Hero Within just added a Marvel Comics license! Kim said that the concepts for the new Marvel line will appear by the end of April, with preorders beginning in May.

“Our goal is to have product ready to ship by late summer,” he added. Which characters can we expect to see?

He said, “I can’t go into too much detail but needless to say, we’ll be developing for many of the cinematic universe favorites.”

Will Hero Within still be producing DC Comics pieces? Kim said, “Absolutely! Several new pieces will be announced this year.”

We can’t wait to see what new superhero fashions are coming up next! Which characters would you like to see in Hero Within’s next fashion collection?
