College, a time to explore who you are and where you want to end up… and who you want to end up with? It seems like as soon as you walk on campus the number of couples and engagements you hear about begins to climb at an alarming rate. But you can also start to feel like you are the only girl on campus living the single life.

That is where we, Daria and Faith, come in! We are two single girls at one of the largest universities in the U.S. who want to help others embrace being single! Here are some fun facts about us:

  • We both had our first real dates after moving into college

  • We are both very involved on our campus with a variety of organizations. Daria is part of the Undergraduate Student Government at ASU and Faith is involved within her sorority!

  • We live on different campuses, Daria at Downtown Phoenix and Faith at Tempe, but we share similar experiences nonetheless.

We want to be honest and real about what it can be like to date in college, the good, the bad, the ugly and the weird. Yes, sometimes it sucks, but being single gives you the opportunity to learn  the most about yourself. It’s the time when you can figure out what you want in a partner and what you don’t.

Throughout the series we will talk about cultivating other relationships, taking advantage of all your opportunities, and being the best version of yourself! If you have any questions that you want us to cover leave them in the comments below or email us at asksinglelife@gmail.com.
