Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because of the interesting concepts and topics that it allows me to cover. It honestly seemed to be the most appealing, and a direct pathway for me to become a Family and Marital Therapist… later Sex Therapist
Are you doing anything exciting this semester?
I’m doing everything exciting this semester. Obviously. I’m not sure I should mention some of the things that I do, but I do find excitement in everything that I do. The one worth mentioning, is my strong consideration of going skydiving
Are you involved in any other extra curricular activities or clubs?
I am involved with both TRIO and TRIO Devils. I don’t have much time to join many other clubs that aren’t close in proximity.
Is there anything you want to accomplish before graduation?
Absolutely yes! I want to travel in at least three different countries (preferably Malaysia, Singapore, and London, but I’m really not picky). I want to go bungee jumping, skydiving, and take several long road trips with friends – to places we have never been.
Describe your ideal date:
This is literally the worst thing ever. I really just wish to stay in, while snuggled up on the couch, watching Netflix, and eating whatever we ordered-out.
Favorite food?
All of them! No, my favorite food would have to be smoothies. I have got to have my daily smoothie, otherwise the feng shui of everything is off balance. Lame, I know.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I can play violin, and viola. I am amazing at lip-syncing.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
I absolutely cannot stand people smacking their gum in and around their mouth. Stop it. Stop it, now. That’s not cute
What are some of your hobbies/what do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m super lame, honestly. I love to read books, and when I finish them I go and write a note to put in another copy of the book I just read, at the store where I bought the book. I also like to buy clothes, it’s turned into a full-fledged addiction. I love spending whatever little time I have talking to my best-friend.
Who or what is your biggest influence and why?
My biggest influence would have to be my aunt Cecelia Avila (Lela for short; pronounced LEE-Luh). She not only taught me how to not give an ounce of crap about what bitchy people will say, but she also taught me how to stand up for what I believe in, as well as how to throw a right hook.
