3 Last Minute Easy Gifts

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at ASU chapter.

Hey ladies! It’s almost time! That is the time to be showered with roses and chocolate from our significant other! Even though we spend time fantasizing of this day, wondering what our surprise might be or if they have forgotten. Shopping for our significant other can be a bit tough, especially if we leave it till the last minute, because come on let’s face it we are amazing at procrastinating! Well I’m here to save you from your frustration with three simple gifts that will make them think you spent a lot of time preparing for this day!

1. A homemade dinner! I know it’s simple and you have probably cooked for your significant other before but for this occasion bring out the fancy wine and put aside the disposable plates and bring out the never touched dishes. Let’s be real, eating out is probably the last thing on your significant other’s mind. Being a college student makes you realize how much you hate fast food or spending tons of money on food you could just make at home. So bring out those dusty cook books and have fun! 2. A goodie basket! What better way to let them know you actually know them than by getting them all of their favorite things in one basket! Just head over to your local store and buy their favorite snack, movie, drink, music and throw in a gift card! By putting all of their favorites in one basket it will show that you actually do pay attention to them and know them. Oh, and while you are at it, throw in something you can both enjoy!

3. A personalized coupon book! I know it’s cheesy, but come on! Who doesn’t want a free massage from their significant other? Be creative and add some coupons that you know they will enjoy and are new to you. Think of this as a way to spice up your relationship while letting them take the reins and decide when you both need to have a little fun or when you need to start mixing things up a bit.

Have Fun Ladies!
