Senioritis As Told By Friends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Arkansas chapter.

That’s right, seniors. This is the first of many lasts for you! The last time you will begin a new school year. The last time you will attend Razorback football games. The last time you will encounter freshmen asking you where to buy a scantron on campus. The last time you will have to deal with parking and transit.

As you can see, the first of many lasts has officially began. With the start of our “last new school year” as a student at the University of Arkansas, senioritis is already taking a toll on our minds. Take a look below at the thoughts that every senior has at the beginning of our last school year:

When you come to the realization that this is the last year you will walk as a student on campus: Because lets face it, we’re all going to miss Old Main.

When professors tell you that the textbook is required and you will continue to use it for your future career: This isn’t my first rodeo, professor.

When the professor continues to talk once class time is up: I have to walk from Bell to the HPER Complex within fifteen minutes.

When you realize that you have a freshman in one of your classes:Who let you in here?

When your second week consists of four exams, three papers, three quizzes, and two portfolios: Because you know, it’s senior year.

When you realize this is the last opening football game that you will be attending as a student:You said what?!

When it’s the first Friday night and Dickson just isn’t ready for you: It’s go time!

Then you return home at 3 a.m:Because, well, the freshman 15 was so three years ago.

When you just need to be an adult for an hour: No one understands the pressure of being a senior.

When your parents keep asking what you plan on doing after graduation:No one actually knows, okay?

You’re just trying to make the best of your senior year with the friends that you will never forget:The friends who have been by your side for four years.
