I’ll be honest with you: the term “cosplay” sounded kind of nerdy to me – but it’s freaking awesome.
It’s like…guys and gals our age that never get over playing dress-up. What’s better, is that it’s socially acceptable because they look so professional doing it. These people will spend hours on their hair and makeup – and months on the costuming alone – for a single photoshoot that makes Tumblr fans wet their pants. Why? I don’t know. Hobby? Obsession? Who cares? It’s freaking incredible! With Halloween just around the corner, not only do these real-life Disney characters inspire our costumes, but they inspire us to be a kid all over again.
