Spring Break Road Trip Jamz

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Arizona chapter.

Going on a road trip for spring break? You’ve got to make sure you have plenty of snack food; pretzels, crackers, sandwiches. You’ll need lots of water and sodas. And, of course, no road trip is complete without an amazing playlist. Here is a list of some of my favorite songs to listen to on the road. You can take the top down, so to speak, let the wind blow through your hair, and turn the speakers up!

1. Spice Girls – “Wannabe”

This song is a fun, upbeat road trip classic that you sing along with at the top of your lungs.

2. N’sync – “Pop”

Lets remember the good-o’l-days when JT was part of this iconic boy band.

3. No Doubt – “Hella Good”

This is a great song about having a good time and feelin’ “hella good” about it. Perfect for

a road trip.

4. Justin Bieber – “Somebody to Love”

Deny it all you want, we all know we wouldn’t mind being J-Bieb’s “Somebody to Love.”

5. Nelly Furtado – “Like a Bird”

Another classic, soft and smooth. This song will give you a little break from all the singing

at the top of your lungs.

6. Jason Mraz – “I’m Yours”

Just rolling with the smooth sounds a little bit longer.

7. Carly Rae Jepsen – “Call Me Maybe”

You know you can’t get enough of this catch beat.

8. TLC – “Scrubs”

The girls of TLC are singing some rules to live by with this anti loser-guy anthem.

9. No Doubt – “Hey Baby”

Alright. You caught me. I love Gwen Stefani and No Doubt.

10. Beyonce – “Irreplaceable”

Just turn the volume up and pretend like you can sing like Beyonce.

11. Jack Johnson – “Sitting Waiting Wishing”

Turn the speakers back down and chill out to this song that you sing along with without

bursting a lung.

12. Britney Spears – “Slave 4 U”

Its Britney. Its sexy. And you know the lyrics.

13. Bruno Mars – “Just The Way You Are”

Nothing Bruno Mars has done quite compares to this first hit of his.

14. Maroon 5 – “Misery”

Adam Levine is hot. Just look at that body.

15. Shakira – “Hips Don’t Lie”

Being in a car should never stop you from moving those hips.

16. Justin Timberlake – “Cry Me a River”

And our favorite guy brings it all home. After this last song, you might just find yourself

listening to the top hits of JT.
