We all share common characterstics with our zodiac signs. Whether that means we’re dramatic like Leos or competitive like Aries, we can learn something about ourselves from looking at zodiac signs. This is no different to the characters on TV shows we love to relate to. TV shows just like New Girl. So here’s my opinion on New Girl characters as zodiac signs:
ARIES: COACH

Competitive and courageous basically describes Coach. With Aries being the first sign, it marks an energetic and confident person. This type of person is always looking for fun, excitement, and speed, which we have seen from Coach since the first episode where he had his insensitive screaming issue.
TAURUS: DR. SAM

Like most Tarsus, Dr. Sam is stubborn, loyal, but emotionally reserved. His career choice is grounded and realistic seeing as he’s a pedestrian and represents his inner Taurus characteristics.
GEMINI: WINSTON

Outgoing and indecisive, Winton’s character highlights most of Gemini’s characteristics. Through his affectionate attitude with his girlfriend turned fiancé, Aly, and his chatty personality Winston would best be described as a Gemini.
CANCER: NICK MILLER

Nick Miller is known for his moody and pessimistic outlook in life, which is why he’d best be described as a Cancer. Due to his highly imaginative, Cancer-like perspective he was able to write The Pepperwood Chronicles, and have it become such a hit that he even went on a world tour.
LEO: SCHMIDT

Like most Leos, Schmidt is generous and warm-hearted. His Leo-like characteristics can be best be seen in his relationship with Cece. Throughout their relationship he’s very passionate towards her. I mean, what other zodiac sign would buy the whole flower shop just to announce big news?!
VIRGO: ALY

Hardworking and loyal Aly is like most Virgos. Although most Virgos and tender, their hearts are usually closed to the world, which, of course, can be seen through the numerous times Winston invited her to hang out even after countless rejections. Thank God he did though.
LIBRA: JESSICA DAY

Indecisive, but social, Jess can be perfectly described as a Libra. As a Libra, Jess’s need and willingness to cooperate with others since she stepped foot in the Loft. But then again that is what makes Jess one of our favorite characters.
SCORPIO: RAEGAN

Just like most Scorpios, Raegan is seen as sexy, yet distrusting since the first episode where you easily figure out her avoiding and secretive behaviors. As a Scorpio Reagan is more in tune with facts rather than feelings, which may or may not be why it didn’t work out for her and Nick in the end.
SAGITTARUS: CECE

Ever since Cece was young she loved freedom. I mean why else would you move from Portland to Los Angeles on your own if you didn’t love your independence? As most Sagittarius, Cece is generous and energetic. Her optimistic outlook on life never got her down, and always helped her be an awesome friend.
CAPRICORN: FAWN

Like most Capricorns, Fawn prides herself in her responsible and disciplined attitude towards the world. As seen in her relationship with Schmidt, Fawn can come off like a know-it-all. Her Capricorn personality is what makes her a good candidate for politics.
AQUARIUS: NADIA

Fun and independent can be good description of Nadia and her Capricorn characteristics. She loves to have a good time, but dislikes limitations and boundaries, which of course, makes it easy to understand how she can be best described as an Aquarius.
PISCES: ROBBY

Robby, the compassionate and artistic Robby, is obviously a Pisces. In his relationship with Jess his loving and gentle personality was highlighted and, let me just say, if Robbie wasn’t such a nice guy I’d definitely be in love. Probably what makes him a Pisces.
