Your Guide to Carolina Jubilee

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at App State chapter.

This year’s Carolina Jubilee will take place September 29-30. If you didn’t know, Carolina Jubilee is a weekend full of great food, live music, and craft beer, wine, and other spirits.

Carolina Jubilee is a two day music festival that promotes sustainability, diversity, and all things from the Carolina’s. This event is centered around supporting local farming and community businesses in a fun and exciting atmosphere. The festival is located at VanHoy Farm in Harmony, NC. VanHoy Farms has over 100 acres of beautiful camp grounds for this event, and you can even hike or hang out by the streams when you aren’t stuffing your face with locally grown food or downing a pitcher of beer from a local brewery!

Vendors include Primal Brewery, Fullsteam Brewery, Dover Vineyard, Kel Minton from Soul Gastrolounge doing 5 signature cocktails from Fairgame Beverage, Topo Distillery, Durham Distillery, Copper Barrel Distillery, and Muddy River Distillery, King of Pops, Summit Coffee Co, Updog Kombucha, and more!

There will be 18 bands, including Acoustic Syndicate, Susto Striking Copper, Ellis Dyson and the Shambles, Shiloh Hill,, Groove 8, The Paper Crowns, Times Sawyer, She Returns from War, Leah Shaw, Amigo, Moses Jones, Swim in the Wild, Sinners & Saints, The High Divers, Roots & Dore, Roots & Friends, and Chicken Coop Village Trio.

There will even be the 5K and 10K Run for Farms on September 30th. The races start at 9 A.M., so be sure to get there early to register if you are interested.

If all of this wasn’t already enough to convince you to go, the festival is offering App Students a 50% off discount on tickets! Now that is an offer you shouldn’t refuse.
