I hope I can speak for every Appalachian student when I say that we are pretty spoiled with fantastic food. From King Street to Blowing Rock, there is little to want in terms of a good bite.
However, because we are college students, that doesn’t always mean we can get it. I know I’m always looking for a good deal or two, so I’ve compiled a list of some of the best weekly deals in town on where to grab a meal when you’ve already burned a hole in your wallet.

Macado’s has 10 wings for $4.44 and Half-Price Hindenburgs from 4 p.m. to closing time. If I knew what a Hindenburg was, I would recommend it to you further.
At Basil’s, you can get a 20% discount as long as you bring your App Card with you.

Galileo’s has an almost unfair amount of $2 deals on Tuesdays. Tacos, chips and queso, chips and salsa, and frozen drinks are all available.
Kids eat for a dollar after 4 p.m. at Macado’s and burgers are only $7.25 all day long.
