Top Five Fragrances To Attract a Boo

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at App State chapter.

Fragrance is subjective. We all know that. However, there are definitely some fragrances that are more attractive to the majority. In my first article here on HerCampus, allow me to introduce you to some of the most attractive, seductive, and simply fantastic smelling fragrances, just in time for Valentine’s. Get ready to get more attention from whoever you’re after, especially on that special day.

Ariana Grande – Cloud

Our first fragrance is sweet and huggable. Cloud gives me that feeling when you eat a warm funnel cake at the fair. It has official notes of lavender, pear, bergamot, and whipped cream. If you love sweet things like caramel, vanilla ice cream, or cheesecake, this is for you. You’ll attract that special someone with sweetness and the best part is that it’s under $50!

Tom Ford – Black Orchid

Our second fragrance isn’t the cheapest, but it sure is one of the most interesting. Black Orchid gives me vibes of warm, spicy, earthy goodness. It has official notes of truffle, black currant, jasmine, and bergamot. It’s not for everyone but is definitely something I love smelling on everyone. If you love the smell of trees just after it rains, this is for you! Now, I know what you’re saying to yourself. Is this really almost $100? Yes, it is, however, Dossier – one of my favorite inexpensive fragrance companies – makes a very accurate dupe of Black Orchid that is only $40! Go ahead and buy yourself a bottle and get your boo!

Viktor and Rolf – Flowerbomb

Third, we have one of the most seductive smelling fragrances of all time. Flowerbomb gives me vibes of daisy fields filled with sugary goodness. This is definitely one of the easier to wear fragrances since it isn’t overpowering at all and has a gentle smell that isn’t all in your face. It has official notes of tea, bergamot, orchid, jasmine, and rose. You’ll love Flowerbomb if you love light floral scents with a dash of sugar. Since this one is also on the more expensive side, Dossier has a perfect dupe for only $30, so go get your bae and thank me later!

Juliette Has A Gun – Vanilla Vibes

Our fourth fragrance is one of the sweetest scents I’ve ever smelled. Vanilla Vibes gives me vibes of, well, vanilla. This fragrance makes me think of marshmallows and vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on top. It has official notes of salt, vanilla, orchid, and tonka bean. Don’t get scared off by the salt since it adds a bit of effervescence. Vanilla Vibes is for the people that love nothing but sweetness and more sweetness. The only place I could find it in stock was the official website so you’ll probably have to pay full price but it is so worth it. Go smell like a big bag of sugar and attract your special someone!

Chanel – Chance Eau Tendre

Finally, we have a fruit and flower-filled fragrance that almost everyone falls in love with. Chance Eau Tendre reminds me of that smell when you open a fresh orange with the addition of a beautiful daisy. It has official notes of grapefruit, hyacinth, and jasmine. This is one of the most recent fragrances I’ve tried and it’s already one of my favorites. As a final gift, Dossier has a wonderful dupe of Eau Tendre that adds a bit more of that floral note and it’s only $30. Have fun with this fruit and flower-filled fragrance and get that valentine!
