Wow… another year gone in the blink of an eye! But hold your horses, collegiettes! Before you box up your belongings and say goodbye to friends, you still have to survive those dreaded final exams. While you may not be able to avoid pulling an all-nighter or two, you can help ease the pain of the long, stressful week ahead of you with your very own homemade exam care package.  I know half the fun of a care package is getting a huge box in the mail with loving and encouraging letters from loved ones, but there is nothing wrong with spoiling yourself with a few goodies!  Treat yourself to some of these products to ease some of the stress of exam week! (And may the odds be ever in your favor.)

Divine Calm Serenity Milk Bath Powder from The Body Shop

Nothing washes away tension like a hot bath.  Sprinkle a palmful of this powder into your hot bath water for a relaxing soak.  Made with lavender essential oil and chamomile, you’ll be sure to feel calm. Plus, this product is made with soy milk, making your skin super silky.

Thermal Lounge Pants from Victoria’s Secret

Let’s face it: Most of us will be slumming it all of exam week, which is the perfect excuse to splurge on some new sweats.  Try these lounge pants from Victoria’s Secret. They’re made from cotton thermal material for extreme comfort. The wide, flow-y leg and fold over waistband is just what you’ll want when you’re operating on about 3 hours of sleep.

Solitude Lavender Sleep Mask from Dream Essentials

When you do get the chance to catch a few zzz’s, try sleeping with a soothing, aromatherapy eye mask, like this one from Dream Essentials.  Loaded with lavender, this mask will help you fall asleep and stay asleep, so you’re not tossing and turning all night thinking about that physics final.

Geo Print Latte Mug from C. Wonder

If you’re like most college students, you’ll be chugging coffee all exam week like it’s your job, so you might as well have a cute coffee cup to use!  The fun print of this mug from C. Wonder will brighten your day.  And you’re probably going to need a little pep in your step at some point during the week.

Nostalgia Electrics Mini Chocolate Fondue Machine from Bed, Bath, & Beyond

Maybe you’re thinking, “you had me at ‘chocolate’”.  Take a break from all that studying and enjoy a chocolate-y treat with this chocolate fondue machine.  Get your roommates together, play some music, cut up some fresh fruit, and enjoy a few minutes of indulgence.  Taking your mind off all those flash cards and vocab words will actually refresh you and help you concentrate better in the long run. Plus, according to Medscape.com, the flavanols found in cocoa may improve cognition… not that you really needed a reason to eat chocolate.

Emergen-C Vitamin C Supplement

You don’t need me to tell you that pulling all-nighters takes a toll on the ‘ol body.  Functioning on so little sleep can really impact your immune system as well.  When it’s crunch time and you have 5 final, 3 papers, and 2 projects to do in one week, there is not time to be getting sick! And think about all of those germs flying around in the library! No thank you.  Add a pack of Emergen-C powder to 4-6 ounces of water and drink up!  The company has improved the recipe as well, so that weird aftertaste that you may have experienced before is gone.

KIND Bars

I’ll be the first to admit that eating a well-balanced meal is not a top priority for me during exam week.  I dare go so far as to say I’ve made a latte a lunch substitute.  But it’s really difficult to perform well on an empty stomach.  Fear not, KIND bars are here to save the day.  With flavors like Peanut Butter with Dark Chocolate and Pomegranate Blueberry Pistachio, these bars are full of fiber and protein to hold you over to your next real meal. Throw a few KIND granola bars in your backpack, you’ll be glad you have them.  If you absolutely cannot afford to take a lunch break, try to pack some veggies, yogurt, or fruit too!
