Milan Fashion Week has begun and some of the most anticipated shows are hitting the runway; including Gucci, Fendi, Versace and Prada.
Some of the first brands to make their debut on the runway are Gucci, N°21, Fendi, Prada and Moschino.
Gucci brought an Elton John-vibe to the Milan runway. The clothes were inspired by Elton John’s stage outfits; tour jackets, high-waisted jumpsuits, and power-shouldered blazers were some of the featured pieces of Gucci’s show.
Fendi took the stage by storm with a new hairstyle and a powerful model squad. The noteworthy models of the Fendi show include Gigi and Bella Hadid, along with Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerber. They all rocked the runway, and their blue and green hair.
Moschino’s My Little Pony themed show was a colorful throwback to the ‘80s. The line features T-shirts, dresses and swimwear, and fun accessories including phone cases and a bag made to look like a lunchbox.
However, new fashion did only hit the runway, but the streets of Milan as well. Kaia Gerber took an all-American look to fashion capital. She dressed in slouchy denim pants adorned with an extra long utilitarian belt; a cropped button down, which matched her whit pumps; and a simple, functional bag that that pulled together her fashion-forward look.
After the Fendi show, Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber wore matching cheetah print pants by the label Frame. Hadid paired the pants with an off-the shoulder black top and a matching jacket, while Gerber went for a more grunge look with a Metallica cropped T-shirt.
There are definitely some major fashion statements being made on the Milan runway this year!
