Q: Why did you decide to become an advertising major?
A: I initially came into school as a Music Therapy major but soon realized that I did not have the drive to do music as a profession. I had a friend who went into advertising and she loved it. I kind of just took a leap of faith and dove head first into it and haven’t looked back.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: My dream job is to be a food stylist, weird right? So food stylists are the people who make food look appetizing for commercials and photo shoots. They’re the people who make that quarter pounder look appealing and make mashed potatoes look like ice cream. Fun fact in a lot of photos ice cream is actually mashed potatoes because ice cream melts.
Q: What is your favorite part about working for Her Campus?
A: Her Campus was the first organization I joined in College. All the girls on the team hold a special place for me and they have given me so many opportunities over the past 3 years. The team is my favorite part of the Her Campus experience and is what keeps bringing me back.
Q: What are your favorite things to do in Boone?
A: I LOVE TO EAT. My favorite thing to do is try new restaurants out. Some of my favorite restaurants are Our Daily Bread, Proper, and Woodlands.
