I first heard of Lush when their Bath Bombs were all the rage on Facebook. During the holiday season, I happened upon the store in South Park Mall in Charlotte, NC. It was packed from wall to wall and almost to the other side of the aisle in the mall. Needless to say, it took forever for me to actually get in, but I am so glad I finally did!
It was heaven to a cosmetic junkie like myself. There are walls full of bath bombs, as well as walls full of soaps, makeup, lotions, and coolers full of face masks. It really is one of my favorite places.
During one of my quick trips to look for the newest thing I found online and wanted to try, I stumbled across a facial soap called Movis. It is part of Lush’s vegan line. Movis is gentle and moisturizing. It is revolutionary because it is made with wheat based ingredients and has vitamin E, which makes your skin extremely smooth.
It works in an interesting way. Whole wheat breadcrumbs exfoliate the dry skin on your face. Movies also contains labdanum and sandalwood oil, leaving your face refreshed.
I typically switch off between Movis and a charcoal cleanser. The charcoal cleanser leaves my face very dry and flaky, but it works wonders on my acne. When my face gets too dry, I use Movis to recharge. This rejuvenates my skin and makes it feel so much better. It also keeps my face very clear and refreshed.
I am not kidding when I say Movis makes my skin extremely soft. I don’t even have to use a moisturizer on the nights I use this facial soap. It has a spongy texture that helps it last a really long time. I have had a small, sample sized square of this soap for a few months and it hasn’t gotten any smaller since I have started using it.
I would rate this product a definite 10/10. It costs $10.95 for a 3.5 ounce bar of soap. Like I said before, this piece of soap will last you MONTHS. I am obsessed with this product and I will for sure be using it for the long haul.
Lush Pro Tip: Go in and ask for samples of products you want to try. They most likely have some samples already cut up and portioned out in the back. That is how I stumbled across Movis, and I am so glad I did!
