I’m a firm believer in working hard for whatever you recieve in life. Whether it’s money, good grades, or good relationships, I don’t believe things will always work out the way they are supposed to. I think sometimes people need to be reminded to quit waiting and reflect on themselves.
Here’s an insensitive reminder to the lost ones.
To the guy that is confused by his own emotions and his own wrongdoings – know that it is your responsibility to fix yourself, no one else’s.
To the girl who is heartbroken and cannot stay away from the boy who said he loved her but really didn’t – know that it is your responsibility to quit running back to the one who broke you, because he will never fix you.
To the guy who longs for an easy life – know that nothing worth having comes easy. Take a step back, be thankful you have the opportunity to work hard and stop wasting it.
To the girl who is opinionated but shy – know that your voice needs to be heard. Stand up for yourself if need be.
To the guy who doesn’t want to see anyone else happy if he isn’t happy – know that you’re the one who let your pride, fears, and selfish ways get the best of you. That is a problem that can only be fixed by confronting it, admitting to it, and apologizing for it.
To the girl who is still waiting for an apology – know that you should stop waiting, it won’t come. Even if it does, will it really mean anything? Most of the time apologies are just temporary excuses before the person goes back and does the same thing again.
To the guy who never wants to argue – know that arguing with someone means that they actually care about you. If someone argues with you it means they see that you are slacking on your talents and goals, and they won’t put up with you not being the best self that you can be.
To the girl who is always there for everyone – know that it’s okay to need someone back. Sometimes a good talk can bring rest to the wandering soul. They say nature can’t speak when it needs help, but sometimes we can’t either.
To the guy who always thinks there’s something better out there – know that it’s all an illusion. If you found the girl who is intelligent, independent, and caring and you left, then know that she will find someone who values her while you’re still figuring out what the definition of value means. And do not try to come back into her life when she is happy. She’s intelligent, remember that.
To the girl who is waiting for something really positive to happen in her life – know that good things come to those who wait. Being patient is courageous and inspiring.
