Let’s face it, collegiettes, we are not made of money as we travel through college and caffeine is an addiction that becomes pretty pricey!

Here are a few tips about acquiring more caffeine without breaking the bank!

Order 2 shots of espresso over ice!

A latte is milk, espresso, flavor (if wanted), and ice, and the cost of that is anywhere around $3.00-$5.00. Who has time to pay that kind of money?! Next time, order two shots of espresso over ice, a flavor if you want, and then add your own cream and sugar! The cost of that is anywhere from $1.95- $2.50

Make your own London Fog for half the price!

Traditionally, a London Fog is steamed milk of your choice and hot Earl Grey tea costing anywhere between $3.50- $4.00. Because the teas are so hot anyway, order an Earl Grey tea with room and add your own breve! Not only will it cool down your drink, but it will also cost about $1.00 less!

Order a Chai Tea Latte with no water!

Now, this won’t save you money, but it will make your tea latte more enjoyable! When you order a Chai Tea Latte, it consists of chai, water, and steamed milk. If you want more of a chai favor, ask your barista to opt out adding water and taste the goodness of all that chai!

Order an Americano instead of coffee for more caffeine!

Normal drip coffee has caffeine in it, but if youre struggling for energy and need a little more but can’t afford a latte, order a hot or iced americano! An americano is espresso and water (and truthfully tastes better than coffee). You can add your own cream and only pay $2.00-$3.00 max!
