Find the Perfect Shadow for Your Eye Color

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at App State chapter.

When going out for a night on the town, you have to have the perfect outfit, accessories, and hair style. But don’t forget to dress up your gorgeous eyes, too! Here are some shadow suggestions to accentuate your eye color:

Green Eyes
If you have green eyes, I recommend using colors such as plums, shimmery golds, red tones (such as red brown), or smoky eye shadows.  These are guaranteed to make your eyes look naturally captivating and attention grabbing.

Blue Eyes
If you’re a blue eyed girl, you should lean more towards warmer tones such as roses, topes, greys, purples and violets, dark blue, and black and browns.  Contrasting warmer colors with those blue eyes will make your eyes stand out!

Hazel Eyes
If you have hazel eyes, golden browns, peaches and apricots, and forest greens will perfectly accentuate your eyes! If you’re looking for something more eye catching, go with a deep plum to really make your eyes sparkle.

Brown Eyes
For brown eyed girls, HC recommends gorgeous colors like copper, bronze, soft pink, champagne, and beige. Using these soft colors is sure to give you a feminine and classy look!

Spicing up your eye routine is sure to leave you feeling fearless, confident, and gorgeous!
