Mom, you are my role model, my biggest supporter, and the greatest woman I know.

As I’ve grown, our relationship has evolved, but you’ve always been there for me and never loved me any less. From taking me to dance practices to visiting me in college; through drama and heartbreaks; from picking me up on bad days to celebrating with me on good days, I know I can always count on you.

Of course, I didn’t always recognize these things and I took them for granted, especially during my teenage years when I thought I could do everything on my own. But now that I’m a little older, I have realized that you are, and always will be, my best friend.

You’re the first person I call with good news, and with bad news.

You’re my role model. Not only do I aspire to be as awesome as you, but to move through life with the grace that you do.

I know I can always count on you for the best wine selections.

And the greatest dance parties.

You always give me the best advice, even if it’s not what I want to hear.

You are my favorite person to shop with. I’m not sure how you do it, but you always know what looks best on me.

You are definitely the coolest mom in the world.

Thank you for never getting mad at me when I call you just to vent. And always making me laugh when I’m having a bad day.

Dancing in the car with you will never get old.

Thank you for supporting me in everything I do, from being a backstage mom at all of my dance recitals to helping me get through college exams.

You raised me in my faith and I know you will always be there for me as I grow in my faith.

You also raised me on The Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain, providing me with a great taste in music.

You mold our family together and instill positivity and excitement in our family.

You always go above and beyond to help me make my dreams come true.

I don’t know what I would do without you, I love you, mom.
