8 Sexy Songs Perfect For Your Next Date Night In

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at App State chapter.

So you already have a playlist full of John Legend and Beyonce? If you’re looking for other songs to spice up your dates, we’ve got you covered! From new catchy tracks to unexpected oldies, we have a playlist perfect for getting you and your S.O. in a romantic mood.

1. Hozier’s “From Eden”

With a happy opening guitar riff and a catchy first line that belts out “Babeee,” this one is perfect for lovebirds that are into alternative music.

2. The Weeknd’s “The Party & The After Party”

You may have heard other hits from them like “The Morning,” or “Often,” but this one is my personal fave from the Weeknd. Thanks to a mysterious sounding sampling from Beach House’s “Master of None” and sexy lyrics, this one is perfect for making out….or 14 year old boys grinding to this on youtube…

3. Radiohead’s “Reckoner”

Reckoner is a standout from Radiohead’s album “In Rainbows,” but let’s be honest, the whole album is basically an orgy jam session for your ears. A fun fact of this album is that the artists let their fans pay what they wanted when it was first released. They’re the best, enough said.

4. Amy Winehouse’s “Tears Dry on their Own”

If you are looking for something from a female artist, try this gem from the late Amy Winehouse. It may not be as in-your-face fun as her hit “Rehab,” but it stills carries the same vocal talent and old school soulful vibe as always.

5. Erykah Badu’s “Didn’t Cha Know”

Another lady that is always on her music game is Erykah Badu. This track has a slinky reggae vibe and her voice brings me back to my childhood full of listening to TLC and Lauryn Hill.

6. Miguel’s “Adorn”

Okay, so this one may be a safe choice, but it’s just too dang good not to have in your repertoire. If you looked up “baby making music” in the dictionary, this song would be the number 1 example.

7. The Rolling Stone’s “Beast of Burden”

There’s a reason the Rolling Stones are one of the greatest rock bands of all time. While the melody is catchy like a lot of their other songs, this one is all aout the lyrics in my opinion.

“I’ll never be your beast of burdenI’ve walked for miles, my feet are hurting,All I want is for you to make love to me.Am I hard enough?Am I rough enough?Am I rich enough?I’m not to blind to seeI’ll never be your beast of burden.”

Poor Mick Jagger :(

8. The Isley Brother’s “Contagious”

So… I might be the only person in history to put this song on a bedroom-worthy playlist. I mean, it is about a guy walking in on his girl with another guy…But I’ll let the sexy chorus and the fact that The Isley Brothers have had top hits in 6 different decades speak for itself. (And if you’re not feeling it, at least you can still get a laugh from the cheesy video!)
