“Omg, make-up, yes every girl loves talking about make-up.”

These products range from mascara to perfume, but they are things I cannot live without! If I could rave about how much I love these all day long, I would. Admit it, you have that one specific mascara that you use and once you’re close to running out, it’s like your world is crashing down. Somtimes it takes you forever and a day to find that perfect foundation, or the right lip color for your every day wear, but once you find it, you’re stuck for life (or until it’s discontinued).

I felt the need to share all the deets that make them worth buying. Here are a few of my favorite make-up and beauty care products I started using in 2016 and I’ll probably use them until the end of time:

#1 Urban Decay Eyeshadow (Shade: Sideline)

I got this eyeshadow at Ulta as a freebie with earning a certain amount of points on my Ulta card (I could seriously do some damage in that store). I was nervous to try it on because I didn’t want the color to look trashy. Reluctant, I put it on anyway. It is one of the prettiest eyeshadows I have. I thought it was going to be super concentrated with gold, but it applies shimmery, not what you would expect. I read the description on the Urban Decay website and the color is described as “gold with green shift, luminous sheen, no glitter.” I don’t know about you, but I hate eyeshadow with glitter. The glitter flakes and gets in your eyes, making you look like you’re crying in a bar, when really your eyeshadow is just the devil. This goes on so smooth, and looks beautiful paired with brown, and even black half smoky eye! The best part about this eyeshadow is the 85 different shades it comes in!

You can get this at Ulta, Sephora, and anywhere that sells Urban Decay.

#2 Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer (Shade: Park Ave Princess)

Years of trying different make-up brands has taught me that I have super, super sensitive skin. Having sensitive skin is why I try to stay away from products that have ample amounts of glitter in them. What I love most about this bronzer is that it doesn’t have a truck load of glitter in it. Finding what works for you is definitely trial and error, and I am so glad I was introduced to this bronzer. This bronzer is determatologist tested, paraben-free, waterproof, sweatproof, AND it has SPF. Basically, Tarte Bronzer is the superhero of all bronzers. The bronzer makes you look like you’re glowing! Definitely something I will continue to use. It even has “Princess” in its name. I mean, come on, y’all!

You can buy this at Ulta, Sephora, and Tarte’s website.

#3 Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (Details: Body–dry, sensitive skin)

Not only do I have annoying, sensitive skin, I have annoying, sensitive, DRY skin. Lately, I have been getting in the routine of putting lotion on when I hop out of the shower and right before I go to bed. Moisturizing your skin helps protect against aging, sun damage, and other things important for regeneration, so it is important to remember to stay hydrated. Cetaphil has some of the best products for all types of skin. This body lotion is seriously something to try. I used some this morning on my legs and arms and I didn’t even have to reapply before bed. This cream is really thick, but it doesn’t leave that gross, greasy feeling that most thick lotions leave. I wouldn’t recommend using this body lotion on your face because they do carry a lotion that is specifically designed for your face! But let me tell you, it’s going to make your legs feel so soft.

The good thing about Cetaphil is that you can purchase this about anywhere. Target, Walmart, and grocery stores carry this brand for you to purchase.

#4 Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen (Color: Black)Hands down one of my favorite eyeliners ever! Before I started using this gorgeous thing, I envied everyone who’s winged eyeliner was on point. I never, ever thought I could pull of the wing look, much less execute it. I bought this eyeliner on a whim to test my theory of not being able to rock it out. To my surprise, my first try wasn’t too bad. I really love how it’s packaged. It’s shaped like similar eyeliners I have used before. Some liquids come out with a brush, like you’re literally painting on yo’ liner. This eyeliner is so smooth, so durable, and really depends on the artist holding the paintbrush. You can make your wing as thick, long, or wide as you want and I think that’s great. We all have our preferences, and this gives you the ability to do that! Clinique has always been a brand I have trusted and used with my sensitive skin so I did not have any hesitations buying this eyeliner. This is Ophthalmologist tested, fragrance free, and allergy tested. No smudges or anything.

Clinque is found in mall department stores like Belk, Dillards, Macys, or you can hit up Ulta or Sephora.

#5 PUR Fully Charged Mascara (Color: Black)

110% in love with this mascara and I will never use another mascara as long as this brand is in business.

I have tried at least 30 different types of mascara and this is hands down my favorite so far. PUR is a great company for someone who has skin sensitivities. The brand is paraben-free, gluten-free, BPA-free, alcohol & talc-free, anything-free you can think of. They pride themselves on making products that are genuinely good for your skin. This mascara has this unique magnetic component which basically wraps around each eyelash to make them look extra full. It is every girl’s dream to get their lashes so long they almost look fake. This mascara does that. I have naturally long eyelashes so it really makes them look full, long, and luscious! It is a building mascara so the more you put on, the thicker your lashes will get. I don’t recommend caking it on because it will flake if you do so. This mascara is so great, sometimes I just wear it alone without eyeliner!

PUR’s website has all of their information about their awesome products and their story. I actually use their foundation, which is just as great as the mascara. You can buy PUR products at Ulta and on their website.

#6 Lorac Illuminating Highlighter (Shade: Moonlight)

Never have I ever tried fancy face powders like highlighters, but I branched out a little last year. Lorac was a familiar brand to me because of the God-send Lorac eyeshadow palettes.

Funny story: I had to YouTube how to apply highlighter because I had no idea and did ask a friend who is a makeup connoisseur to help.

This stuff looks like fairy dust. It is so pretty. I chose the pink tone because I thought it would match with my blush well. I guess that is how you choose, I have no idea. It worked out well, and it matches perfect with my skin tone. Lorac is also a paraben-free company, which I really like. A lot of the products I use are paraben-free, so that is something I look for. Highlighter really spices up your make-up, and it makes you glow along with your bronzer! I could literally spend hours on Lorac’s website just looking at the eyeshadow palletes alone, but this company has great products.

You can buy this highlighter and other bomb Lorac stuff at Ulta, Sephora, and on the brand website.

#7  Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum Rollerball (Details: I am Juicy Couture)

I consider myself a “smell good” connoisseur. Bath and Body Works use to be my jam when I was younger. Since then, I have graduated to big girl perfumes. I am not a huge fan of over-powering perfumes, like perfumes that give you a headache, or extra flowery floral scents. I like to smell clean, and classy. Is there such thing to smell classy? The description on the Juicy Couture website says gardenia is in this perfume but it does not smell too floral at all but more fruity than anything. I have tried several scents by Juicy and this falls at the top of my list! Not only does this stuff smell delicious, but I really do enjoy a rollerball. It’s travel size so I can take it in my purse, on the plane, or any other adventure without having to worry about the bottle leaking or spilling. Smelling good is one of the first things I notice in someone, so how I smell is important to me.

This perfume does come in other bottle options and you can buy it at almost any mall department store, perfume store, Ulta, or Sephora. You can also check out the Juicy website!

All of these products are definitely worth trying, and I hope you guys go and check them out!
