Ingredients:

  • A waffle
  • A generous amount of soft serve ice cream
  • An entire can of whipped cream (or half a can if you’re not quite that hard core)
  • A squirt of chocolate sauce
  • A dash of cinnamon
  • Several spoonfuls of sprinkles

Tools:

  • One of our lovely Valentine Hall waffle makers!

Here is a recipe that doesn’t really have any fixed ingredients, except for the waffle of course!  The first step is making the waffle, which is pretty straightforward. You put the batter in the waffle maker and wait for it to beep (I recommend waiting about a minute after the beep to make sure your waffle doesn’t fall to pieces when you try to take it out). Then the rest is up to you. The ingredients we have here are really more of a guideline. Ice cream is a classic (vanilla works pretty well), and if you’re anything like me, then you put whipped cream on everything. A dash of cinnamon adds some spiciness to the mix, and the sprinkles add a splash of color.  Feel free to go crazy and add anything else you may find yummy.  Peanut butter?  Bananas?  Frozen yoghurt?  Cranberries?  The possibilities are ENDLESS!

P.S. due to the sheer amount of toppings your waffle is most likely to end up with, I suggest eating it with some friends, thereby really making it a party!
