Pick-Me Ups from a Bra

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Amherst chapter.

We recently received the Back-To-School Survival Kit, so you know what that means? Giveaway time! (We’ll keep you all posted about when we’re tabling). HerCampus gave us a whole box of things, including a Maidenform bra. Here is a list of advice that a bra would give to start you off right for the 2016 school year:

30AA. At first, college can be a little uncomfortable…

32A. Make a few adjustments for yourself.

34B. You will know when your class schedule is the right fit because it will feel great.

Two labs in a semester? Sure, if that’s your thing. Four political science classes? You do you.

36C. There is no need to compare yourself to others because people come in all beautiful shapes and sizes.

(I think this fruit basket is wondrous)

38D. It is okay to have sagging points in the semester.

(Or vegan cake, or gluten-free cake, whatever floats your cup of tea)

40DD. Sometimes, you just need a little extra support.

(Bringing the Snuggies back ;) )

42E. Push yourself through the semester.

*hone in your inner High School Musical*

44F. LIFT, BABY, LIFT.

46G. It might take a while for you to find “The One BFF”, but once you do, you’ll never let them go.

48H. It is completely okay to give up on that annoying wire that you’ve spent so hard repairing.

50I. Make memories that you will keep close to your heart.

If the numbering of this list has left you confused, I apologize for that. Some sizes could have been made up. Thanks for sticking with me till the end! Go out and have an awesome year!

Bonnie is a sophomore at Amherst College. Even though she studies statistics, she is interested in technology, pediatric medicine, dentistry, education, and public health.  She spends most of her day trying out new things, like eating an ice cream cone while biking or looking for ways to climb onto campus building roofs. "All over the place" would be the best way to describe her.
