The semester has finally begun, and you know what that means: new primetime television. Let’s face it, after hours of class, studying, clubs and sports, everyone needs an hour of me time; what better way to fill it than with dramatic, guilty-pleasure television. Everyone has her returning favorites from last year, but here are a few that are coming out this fall to look forward to.
1. Charlie’s Angels: A remake of the classic spy women we love, this new series on ABC is sure to spice up your late night TV. Set in Miami, three lovely ladies are out on missions for their elusive boss, Charlie, and nothing can stand in their way.
2. New Girl: Jess Day (the fabulous Zooey Deschanel from 500 days of Summer) has gone through a string of bad luck and finds herself roommates with three single men. Sort of a modern twist on three’s company, Jess stumbles through her new living situation and learns more about men than she bargained for.
3. The Playboy Club: This NBC show promises to seduce you in its take on the renowned Chicago club in the 1960’s. Bunny costumes and glitter galore only add to the drama that this provocative cast brings to the series.
4. Revenge: The smoking hot cast of this new ABC show is in trouble when Emily Thorne moves back into town. Set on revenge, Emily will destroy the entire glamorous Hampton community to right the wrongs done to her.
5. Two Broke Girls: Now here’s a show that collegiettes™ can relate to. When Max Black and Caroline Channing meet at their waitressing job during a dry spell of cash, they decide to become entrepreneurs. With their bakery idea in mind, the two scramble for dollars to start their dream.
