Thanksgiving is almost here, collegiettes! Turkey dinners, high school friends and your very own bed will be yours before you know it. Take a break from watching Netflix and break out some good, old-fashioned books to make the most of your break. Here are 11 reads for every collegiette. Grab your favorite blanket, a mug of cocoa and enjoy!

For the aspiring comedian:

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling

This hilarious memoir covers everything from best friends to cupcakes to chest hair. With brutal honesty and sidesplitting personal stories, Kaling’s writing is both assuring and inspiring for any twenty-something. This is a must read for all collegiettes.

Bossypants by Tina Fey

Fey’s 2012 memoir recollects her rise to fame with heartwarming and amusing anecdotes. From her time on Saturday Night Live to her departure into 30 Rock, this book is both entertaining and empowering for women in the comedy industry.

For the wanderlust adventurer:

Wild by Cheryl Strayed

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort

Soon to be a major motion picture starring Leo DiCaprio, Belfort reflects on his time as the wolf of Wall Street. This rollicking tale of money, sex and fraud is a powerful reflection of the culture of Wall Street leading up to 2008. This fast-paced and witty novel is sure to excite.
