So a lot has happened in pop culture this month, the biggest event being the 56th Grammy awards. One of the most talked about red carpet moments was Pharell’s Dudley Do-right-esque hat which was almost as big as he is.
Inside the ceremony Beyonce and Jay-Z opened the show with a super sexy performance that a lot of people thought was too sexy. But they are married! So apparently married people are not supposed to be that sexy? Pretty sure Bey is a grown woman.
Taylor Swift also got lots of buzz for her personal dance party she was having during each of the performances and for her own performance where she appeared to be trying to snap her neck off her head.
Also in pop culture news this past week, Justin Bieber got a DUI in Miami when he was caught drag racing. Some reports were saying his team really wants him to go to rehab and get some help. A lot of reports are also questioning his choice of friends, saying his entourage has been a very negative influence on him. This arrest comes after his house was searched for drugs and one of his friends was arrested for possessing cocaine. It also comes after police tried to link him to egging a neighbor’s house and causing $20,000 worth of damage. In other words: Bieber may just be the next 2007 Britney Spears.
Finally, this Sunday is the Superbowl just outside New York City in what is probably going to be very cold weather. The Seattle seahawks are going to be playing the Denver broncos and Bruno Mars will be the halftime show. It will probably be very cold.
