As Thanksgiving and winter break approach, you may be looking for some activities to do in your free time. Here are three movie releases to look out for.  

  1. Dear Zoe 

Featuring “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink, “Dear Zoe” is a drama about Sink’s character enduring a familial loss, while simultaneously finding a relationship with her biological father. Directed by Grenn Wells, the movie is set to be released on Nov. 4. 

  1. Nanny

The film first premiered at Sundance 2022.“Nanny” will be a must-see for horror and thriller fans. “Nanny” follows the story of Aisha discovering the truth behind the new American life she has discovered. Directed and written by Nikyatu Jusu, “Nanny” comes out Dec. 16. 

  1. Spirited

Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell come together in this 21st-century musical depiction of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol.” The musical comes with a stacked cast, actress Octavia Spencer and actor Joe Tippett will appear alongside Reynolds and Ferrell. “Spirited” comes out Nov. 11.
