Anyone who knows me at all knows I have a major girl crush on Lauren Conrad. Do you know any other person who gained fame from two major reality shows then used that fame to start multiple businesses? I don’t think so. Lauren Conrad is amazing, however her taste in men has always been a roller coaster ride for all of us. While some of her relationship drama was clearly for the show, you can’t deny how much you wanted Lauren to find love too. I’ve decided in order to truly celebrate Lauren’s future of love and beautiful babies, it’s only fair if we took a look in her past…
Stephen Colleti
Ah, young love. They started out as friends but realized something else was there. When Laguna Beach first started, everyone could tell there were sparks between Lauren and Stephen. Unfortunately, Stephen was never fully involved with Lauren because Kristin Cavallari was always in the picture with her petty drama (think I’m bitter enough?). While Lauren cried a lot because of that, it was worth it in the end. Lesson learned: don’t waste your time trying to win over a guy who likes another girl, no matter how crazy that girl is.
Jason Wahler
Whenever I think of Jason I think of what the Teen Vogue editor said to Lauren: “You’ll always be the girl that said no to Paris.” Yes, Lauren wanted to work on her relationship but she gave up the opportunity of a lifetime to fix a relationship that was clearly already broken. Jason made her feel worse than Stephen did!
Brody Jenner
I know I’m not the only one who really wanted Brody and Lauren to work out as a couple. They were perfect together and were also really good friends to one another, but that was a long time ago; way back when Brody wasn’t on The Kardashians. However, they never would have worked forever, deep down Brody was a guy who didn’t want to be “tied down” and poor Lauren figured that out. I’m glad they remain friends and most important saw that they were better as friends.
Doug Reinhardt
Let’s be honest Doug was nothing more than a pretty face. This relationship was so short, very few people even know it happened. Doug also dated Stephanie Pratt and Paris Hilton, needless to say his type was a California Blonde. I think she needed to get that “dating a hot guy” out of her system and Doug was the perfect match. Overall, to say they were dating is a bit of an overstatement, it was more of a fling.
Kyle Howard
This relationship intrigued me. Towards the end of Lauren’s time on The Hills, she kept her relationship with Kyle a secret and the two dated for a very long time. Out of nowhere they broke up but the rumor is he wanted a more successful acting career and wasn’t supportive of Lauren’s career (how rude!). This goes to show a true gentleman supports and loves a woman for her success and doesn’t hold it against her.
William Tell
Last, but defintely not least: Mr. Wiliam Tell. He’s from SoCal, was in a band called, Something Corporate, and is now a law student at USC. He’s the perfect combination of LA for Lauren because he understands the entertainment industry but leads a life outside of it. This goes to show that there is always that perfect someone out there for us all!
