Her Campus American University: What 3 words would friends use to describe you?

Jenna Noor Khan: Funny, caring, Pisces

HC AU: What are you involved in on campus and in the DC community?

JNK: I’m involved in SASA, and am currently prepping for a dance for Holi at AU. As far as D.C. goes, I work as a server at an Indian restaurant in Cleveland Park called Indique.

HC AU: What is your favorite thing about AU?

JNK: My favorite thing about AU is how people aren’t afraid to be themselves, or afraid to be different from each other. People here generally value (and are interested in) what sets you apart.

HC AU: What’s your favorite neighborhood, area or place in DC?

JNK: Dupont Circle, because I can always get my eyebrows done and then go for empanadas.

HC AU: Name the best meal you’ve had in DC.

JNK: Sakuramen in Adams Morgan, because they always have fire music on while you eat.

HC AU: What, if anything, are you most interested in that people haven’t heard of?

JNK: I’m super interested in makeup and experimenting with different techniques and trends! I’m really impressed with people who can do make up really well, it’s an art and everyone has different but beautiful ways of doing it.

HC AU: What’s 1 item on your bucket list?

JNK: Build my own self-sustainable micro house and travel around the U.S. in it.

HC AU: If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with your extra time?

JNK: Probably take baths? They are pretty relaxing, I don’t get the chance to take them too often.
