It’s Not too Late to Hunt for Internships

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

Flustered on finding an internship for the summer or for the upcoming semester? Here are three quick tips that can help you begin the process.

If you’re looking for an internship in a specific place, websites that can filter by location are a great starting point for research. Monster.com, indeed.com, and internships.com all allow users to plug in specific keywords to navigate their searches.

Take the time to really look at AU’s career center website or page. Career advisors are present at many of the colleges and serve the sole purpose of helping you meet your goals. University websites often have a plethora of internship/job listings that are readily available for students to use.

Don’t overlook the old-fashioned bulletin boards around campus—they often highlight events that provide access to networking and internship opportunities. Keep your eyes and ears peeled!
