Guess what, Lizzie McGuire fans? Hilary Duff will be returning to the silver screen! No, not as a grown up version of our childhood idol, but as a young, ambitious publishing executive. The new show is titled Younger and stars former Bunheads lead Sutton Foster who plays Liza, a 40-something year old who, after her child goes off to college, moves to the Big Apple and embarks on a journey as a 29 year old in the New York City publishing world. Duff will play Kelsey, “a smart ambitious 20-something who welcomes Liza to the publishing firm, treats her as a contemporary and makes a concerted effort to integrate her into her social life, having no idea that Liza is a decade older,” The show will premiere on TV Land in January.
