Fun Fall & Halloween Desserts

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

The Fall season is here and Halloween is right around the corner. That means Halloween parties and festive get-togethers! If you love to bake, check out these desserts for some creative Fall and Halloween-themed treat ideas. Click on the pictures to get the recipes.

Pumpkin Pie Canolis

Am I the only one obsessed with pumpkin? I want this tray in front of me right now. This is definitely a delicious traditional Italian dessert with a seasonal twist. It’s an easy-to-make finger food!

Halloween Snickerdoodles

Who doesn’t love snickerdoodles? This adds a little more of a “Halloween” flavor to the original recipe. This will be a big winner at get-togethers!

Pumpking Krispies Treats

This is your basic rice krispie treat recipe except cuter! Kids will especially love these. They’re super easy to make and are a fun way to celebrate the upcoming holiday.

Candy Corn Swirl Cookies

So much nicer to look at than regular, boring cookies. Taking the colors of candy corn, these cookies bring a little pop to the dessert table!

Eyeball Cake Pops

Wanna impress the guests at your party this year? Try making these! Okay, so it’s a little gross looking, but cake pops are the complete opposite of gross, so I’m willing to try these! They’re super creative for a Halloween party, and inserting the forks on top add the finishing touch!

“Scary” Ghost Cupcakes

Cutest cupcakes ever. Need I say more? This adorable cupcake impressed me with its simple presentation. These belong on “Cupcake Wars!”

Pumpkin Brownies

Who doesn’t love brownies? Adding pumpking into the mix makes them 10x better. Check out this fall-inspired dessert! This flavor combination looks amazing.

Candy Corn Fudge

I’m a big fan of candy corn. I’m also a big fan of fudge. So naturally, this appeals to someone with a sweet tooth like me. It’s quite clever too. Again, taking a traditional recipe of fudge and putting a seasonal twist on it! These look so good and I can’t wait to try them out for myself. You should too!

Pumpkin Maple Cream Cookie Blondies

I’m having a hard time resisting the urge to reach my hand into my computer screen and grabbing one of these…again, pumpkin is my favorite flavor so fall season is definitely for me. Try these out, you will not be disappointed.
