Emmy Fashion Favorites

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

This past Sunday was the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards show. A night recognizing excellence in the television industry, but more importantly a night of fashion excellence. As I do with every award show, I focused more on the winning outfits of the night rather than the awards themselves. So here are a few of my favorite ensembles straight off the red carpet!

1.     Taylor Schilling

The star of Orange is the New Black is wearing the farthest thing from an orange jumpsuit. Taylor is sporting a white Thakoon dress with perfect accenting gold accessories.

2.     Malin Akerman

Akerman wore a gorgeous, strapless, dove grey colored Marchesa gown with a mermaid shape and tulle embellishments.

3.     Edie Falco

Falco looked absolutely stunning in this tight, purple Escada dress! Proving that purple is a hot color for this Fall 2013 season.

4.     Mindy Kaling

Kaling looked flawless in her tight aubergine Georges Chakra dress with an interesting beaded top.

5.     Anna Gunn

The Breaking Bad star takes home the award not only for best supporting actress, but for best dressed. Gunn turned heads while wearing a stunning Romona Keveza lace gown.
