Attend Fashion Week from the Comfort of Your iPhone

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

Twice a year, some of us find ourselves lusting after a front-row seat for the seasons most Tweeted, Insta-grammed, and gossiped about runway shows. If you follow a famous designer, blogger, model (or all of the above) on Instagram, one thing is clear: fashion week may be glamorous, but it’s also a whirlwind. Unfortunately, not all of us are lucky enough to be able to attend such an event. Securing a spot for any show is not an easy feat. It’s even more difficult trying to catch a glimpse of your favorite A-lister outside the venues – imagine masses of paparazzi and crowds of fans who are even more crazed than you are. Still want to keep up with the shows? We have a solution. Whether you have your eye on Chanel at the Grand Palais or Naeem Khan at Lincoln Center, cut out the chaos by following these four Instagram accounts:

1. Chiara Ferragni

Also known as ‘The Blonde Salad’, this Italian fashion blogger has a huge fan base, clocking in at 3.2 million Instagram followers and almost a million likes on Facebook. She’s collaborated with companies like Steve Madden and Yves Saint Laurent, and now has her own line of shoes. Chiara Ferragni will definitely be making appearances at shows across the globe, so be sure to follow her for her take on the shows (and a little outfit inspiration).

2. Karlie Kloss

Unless you’ve been stuck in a social media rut, it’s hard to have not seen or heard of supermodel Karlie Kloss. This long-legged beauty has more campaigns than we can keep up with. She’s worked with Warby Parker, Joe Fresh, L’oreal Paris and many more! From Victoria’s Secret to Oscar de la Renta, Karlie has also walked countless runways the past few seasons and is sure walk even more this coming one. Did we mention she’s also best friends with Taylor Swift?  Following Karlie Kloss on Instagram will give you a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes of fashion week.

3. Rachel Zoe

A fashion designer, mother of two and former star of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project, Rachel Zoe is one of the fashion industry’s most revered stylists. She’s dressed numerous celebrities for red carpet events and has styled countless shoots for campaigns and fashion magazines. Although she might be busy prepping for her own collection, Rachel Zoe will still be running back and forth between shows, using Instagram to to capture all that she deems as ‘major.’

4. Natalie Massanet

A lady with an impeccable sense of style, Natalie Massanet is most definitely someone to follow this fashion season. The founder of luxury fashion websites Net-a-Porter, Mr. Porter, and The Outnet, Massanet will hopefully be treating her followers to snapshots of some of the seasons hottest looks-all from front row, of course.

There’s nothing like social media to help you keep track of the chaos that is fashion week. Next time you find yourself dreaming of frenzied backstage makeup artists and fittings, open up your Insta feed and scroll through it. Hopefully these accounts (along with many others) will help satisfy your fashion week cravings.
