Did you know tea beats out coffee for the most popular beverage? Simple to make and incredibly good for the body, teas can help you ward off stress, stomach aches, and the dreaded flu season. Here are five blends you should stock up on.

#1 Green Tea 

The classic. Green tea is filled with antioxidants that purify and refresh your body’s organs. This helps to reduce stress, lower cholesterol, and raise brainpower. Even better, it relieves the stress on your body enough that your metabolism actually speeds up. Green tea is an all-around winner. Try drinking a cup a day for a week and see if you notice a difference.

#2 Peppermint Tea

No, it doesn’t taste like a candy cane. But a cup of peppermint tea can be just as sweet for your body. Peppermint tea is known to reduce stress and speed metabolism, just like green tea. Its most famous benefit, however, is its ability to cure stomach aches. Stomach aches are one of the primary causes of stress, so a cup of peppermint tea before bed can lead to more restful Z’s.
