5 Classes You Can’t Miss at SELF Magazine’s Workout on the Quad

On April 27, SELF magazine is bringing a diverse set of workout classes to AU for Workout on the Quad. With a range of fitness sessions throughout the event, there’s a class for everyone. Here are our top five picks that you can’t miss.
 
1. CrossFit Workout of the Day
20-minute sessions from 11:10-2:25
This full-body workout will have you jumping, squatting, pushing and pulling—all while having fun! Grab your friends and challenge yourself to complete the strength and conditioning session in the Reebok Fitness Zone. Stop by for one (or more) of the high-energy and high-intensity crossfit workouts throughout the event.
 
2. Masala Bhangra
Main Stage, 12:50-1:10 p.m.
Show us your moves. Sponsored by Garnier, this class will feature moves inspired by the traditional Indian dance. Dance your way into the styles of Bhangra and Bollywood.
 
3. Core Yoga
Quiet Zone, 11:35-11:55 a.m.
Strength, balance, posture. Focus on your core and calm your mind at this flow style class. No need to think twice about attending this strength-building session!
 
4. 2FLY
Main Stage, 2:30-3:00 p.m.
You know you’re a 90’s kid when… You can’t contain your excitement for 2FLY. Featuring 90’s style moves and music, this class will get you pumped and ready to start the summer. Cue: Fly by Sugar Ray.
 
5. Beach Body
Main Stage, 2:05-2:25 p.m.
Take a vacation, but not from the gym. Get ready for bikini season by sculpting and toning your beach bod. Sponsored by LeSportsac, this workout is the perfect kickoff to your summer fitness regimen.
