UAlbany Student’s YOU are our Campus Celebrities

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Albany chapter.

This week’s campus celebrity is someone you already know pretty well.. YOURSELF!

First of all, congratulations, Monday has been conquered yet again.

You’ve made it through midterm week, a week full of sleepless nights where you’re half studying, and half giving up, praying there’s a curve.  After all of the energy drinks, Jazzman’s coffee, and Argo Tea, you finally did it!

Now that midterms are over (for most of us) it’s time to step your game up.  This is crucial time before finals, and if you haven’t been to office hours yet this semester, it’s not too late!  Familiarizing your professor with your face can definitely help when it comes to B- and a B.  You may not receive the grades you thought you would on your midterms, but just remember that you tried your best.  Use that as an opportunity to go even harder for finals- nothing can stop a good comeback.

After all, the best memories that happen at UAlbany aren’t built in the LCs or the third floor of the library. They’re ordering $2 Papa John’s pizza,  dancing with your friends downtown on the weekend, and finding out your place in the world.

You go, girl!

Tabia is a senior at SUNY University at Albany. She is studying Journalism with a minor in History and Africana Studies. She would love a career in Journalism as an Arts and Entertainment Reporter. She wants to go to graduate school in her native New York City or Boston, Massachusetts. In her spare time she likes to dance, sing, watch new shows on Hulu and read Her Campus articles. She is currently the Podium Perspective Director and a Staff Writer for the Albany Student Press and a founding member of Kappa Alpha Pi. Go Danes!
