On the 1st of December the British Fashion Council celebrated the best of British style at the British Fashion Awards 2014. The British Fashion Awards are held every year and the award ceremony celebrates the best of British designers and style icons. This year 2000 people attended the awards at the British Coliseum. There were 17 winners and 63 nominees in total. Some of the awards included the British Style Award, Model of the Year, Menswear Designer of the Year and Womenswear Designer of the Year. There were many fashionable guests in attendance including Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Emma Watson. Here is a list of the Award Winners this year:

One of the highlights of the award ceremony was seeing all of the red carpet fashion choices. Here are some of the best dressed from the red carpet in 2014:
Cara Delevingne
Cara Delevingne, winner of the Model of the Year Award, was certainly the best dressed of the night. She wore a stunning embellished slit Burberry Gown with black side panels. She also rocked an incredible smokey eye with her sleek, straight hair pulled to the side.
Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham, winner of the Brand of the Year Award, was also one of the best dressed at the awards. She wore a black sweater and a long monochrome skirt from her own collection. She was also accompanied by her husband, David Beckham, who wore a Dior suit.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner has been taking the fashion world by storm recently, and the British Fashion Awards was no exception. She wore a monochrome jumpsuit designed by Emilio Pucci paired with a simple clutch bag and bright red lipstick.
Joan Smalls
Model Joan Smalls looked incredible in a little black cut-out Tom Ford dress. We love her sleek hair pulled to one side and bright red lipstick to complete the look.
Karlie Kloss
Model Karlie Kloss looked glamorous in a gorgeous metallic champagne colored halter-neck gown. Her styled blonde hair transformed her into the perfect red carpet bombshell.
Tamsin Egerton
Actress Tamsin Egerton brought a pop of color to the carpet in a bright red skirt and white top, both designed by Natasha Zinko.
Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton
One of the best dressed couples of the night was Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton. Nicole wore a pretty ruffled Julien Macdonald dress paired with nude heels and Lewis Hamilton wore a dapper light grey suit.
Jeremy Irvine
The best dressed male from the red carpet was actor Jeremy Irvine, wearing a Burberry suit and coat.
