31 Ways to Make the Most of your Halloween

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Albany chapter.

With the weather, hopefully, dropping down to the chilly 50s and 60s, fall is quickly approaching us. Nothing gives off fall vibes better than the changing leaves, pumpkin spice everything, and sweater weather. With all the beautiful things that fall has to offer, one of its best perks is Halloween. This spooky holiday is the highlight of October and brings so many exciting things along with it. Although free candy and costume parties might be most people’s favorite part about Halloween, we can’t forget about the amazing movies inspired about this time. There was no better way to get in the Halloween spirits than to go to ABC Family in late October and get excited about 13 Days of Halloween. Since this movie marathon was a great way to get everyone excited about Halloween, Freeform and Syfy have decided to step it up a notch. Instead of limiting us to 13 days of Halloween movies, they’ve blessed the month of October with 31 Days of Halloween. While this isn’t Syfy’s first Halloween rodeo (this is their 10th year with their month-long marathon), Freeform is changing it up and increasing their Halloween movie nights from 13 to 31. Starting October 1st, this month-long event is the perfect way to make the best out of this spooky month. From the best Halloween movies that you re-watch every year to some childhood classics, Freeform and Syfy offer a range of movies every day at different times to keep your October entertaining and spooky. To find out more information about Syfy’s movie schedule, head on over to their website to see which movies they’ll be airing. With September almost half way over, head over to Syfy and Freeform so you can start planning out your movie nights. There’s no better way to get into the Halloween spirit!
