Spring semester means in with the new and out with the old. Urban Outfitters, Amazon, and Esty are three places you can buy new clothes, new decorations, and new storage for the new semester! As soon as I got back to school, I reorganized my closet, donated old clothes to Plato’s closet, and got some brand-new decorations. All the post-holiday sales make this process new and exciting, and what’s a better time to shop than the back-to-school season?

If you want some inspiration for what to buy to revamp your style and room, take a look at these items that will refresh your vibe for the spring semester.

1.Felix Folding Storage Crate (Urban Outfitters)

These storage crates are the perfect pop of color to make your space more colorful and organized. The crates come in a variety of colors ranging from orange and green to the more classic white and black. These inexpensive bins would look adorable on top of desks, underneath your sink, or even in your closet. Adding these to the cart is a MUST and I will certainly be ordering a few for my apartment.

2. Vase Bookend Set (Urban Outfitters)

These bookends are the perfect way to organize textbooks, that new romance novel you just saw trending on TikTok, or that self-help book you’ve been trying to finish for the past three months. These bookends also function as vases, which makes them multi-purpose and a fun spot to put some (real or fake) flowers. The color of these bookends fits into the cutest quirky girl aesthetic, and I need these on my windowsill right now!

3. NGDN Mimi and Co Spa Headband (Amazon)

If you have never seen one of these headbands before, then you are on the wrong side of TikTok. These spa headbands make washing your face or getting ready so much more fun. These headbands work perfectly for keeping your hair out of your face… and only for 8 dollars. These headbands are going viral right now and it might just be the purchase you need to bring out your inner beauty guru.

4. Chloven 30-Pack Reusable Makeup Remover Pads (Amazon)

These makeup remover pads are one of my TOP Amazon purchases. I bought the variety pack which comes with ten bamboo terry scrub pads, ten bamboo charcoal pads, and ten bamboo soft organic pads. I have been trying to make more environmentally friendly choices, and these check off that list. They do not leave any residue like the other ones I’ve tried, and they do a great job of getting off that stubborn mascara. For $9.99, this purchase is a no-brainer.

5. Holder Stand Cup Storage (Etsy)

I will always need another coffee cup. This rack is compact and perfect for a dorm or apartment counter. Whether you want to display your favorite mugs or you are running out of room in your cabinets, this rack from Etsy is the perfect fit. Shopping on Etsy is fun because there are unique pieces you simply can’t find on Amazon. Etsy also supports small businesses, which I like to do whenever I can. And if you buy this, you have an excuse to look for cute coffee mugs on Etsy too (the BEST feeling!)

6. Wood Desk Organizer (Etsy)

I personally own one of these organizers, and it keeps my desk cleaner than ever. I never have to look around for pens, scissors, or markers because they are all located in an easily accessible-to-look place. These organizers can be used for your desk, office space, or kitchen. The organizer also takes up minimal space, so your desk doesn’t feel overcrowded. 2023 is the year of organization, and this piece will make your desk a place you want to sit at!
