This just in: Dwyane Wade is finally reunited with Lebron James. Cleveland fans everywhere were losing their minds on September 26, 2017 when word got out that Dwyane Wade would be added to the Cavs roster for this upcoming season. Even when I first heard the news, I was surprised and thought that it was a little too good to be true. But, as soon as I opened up any form of social media the news was everywhere.
Lebron speaks out about the possibility of having D-Wade possibly playing for the Cavs on Cleveland’s media day by stating, “He brings another championship pedigree, championship DNA.” He then goes on to say, “I hope we can bring him here, I’d love to have him.” Well duh, who wouldn’t want to be able to work with their best friend during a season with the possibility of bringing home another championship to Cleveland.
Clearly the duo has accomplished a lot while they were both playing for Miami Heat, making four consecutive NBA Finals, two of which ended up in championships. Wade describes his and Lebron’s relationship during his introductory news conference as “peanut butter and jelly…we just go together.” D-Wade, us Cavs fans can’t wait to see what you and Lebron accomplish this season and we’re extremely excited for the opener on October 17th.
